Abstract

The bachelor thesis is based on problematics and financial management of labour office. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The practical part deals with the functions and status of labour office. It describes the employment office as an institution in the public administration system and explains the functioning of the Directorate-General, labour offices and contact centers. The practical part is devoted to financial management and analysis of financial management of a specific labour office. It focuses on legislation, budget, revenue and expenditure and their overall structure. They compared the total expenditure and revenue in the time span of five years. In the last part of the thesis is an analysis financial management including comparisons between revenues and expenditures. It also illustrates an important indicator – economic result, which is also compared.
