Abstract

The work deals with the design of modernization of technology designed to deal with drought-related events, such as forest and field fires, as well as events associated with difficult terrain. The work focuses on specific firefighting equipment, such as quad bikes with a fire extinguishing module or tanks in a forest fire truck design. The work assesses the equipment of this technique at the fire brigade of the Pilsen region, including the processing of emergency statistics, the work also deals with the design of field tests to verify the driving characteristics of selected vehicles. The aim of the work is the design of retrofitting fire protection units with new firefighting equipment.
