Abstract
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the investment project of company XY, a.s. which was implemented in 2016. The efficiency of the investment is assessed using selected assessment criteria and then the results are compared with the data that the company has acquired through its own processing. The second chapter of the bachelor thesis will describe and characterize the basic principles and concepts of the investment process. The third chapter focuses on methods of evaluating investment projects. The most commonly used methods for evaluation will be defined. The fourth chapter presents the practical part of the bachelor thesis in which the theoretical knowledge from the previous chapters will be applied to the evaluation of the investment. Then static and dynamic methods will be used for the selected project. In conclusion, the sensitivity analysis will be applied.
