Abstract

The goal of diploma thesis is to define the theoretical foundations of the Economic and Social Cohesion of the European Union, then focus on field project management and development of projects and ultimately to apply theoretical concepts in the example of selected Business Plan. The diploma thesis is structured into three substantive chapters, including introduction and conclusion. The second chapter deals with the Economic and Social Cohesion Policy of EU. There are explained basic terms of project management. The third chapter provides information on the EU's structural assistance in the Czech Republic. It also describes the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation. The final chapter is designed Business Plan. Within Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation I chosed Consulting programme, that enables small and medium-sized companies to improve internal processes and also to achieve more quality results in period 2007-2013. The objective of diploma thesis has been fulfilled I got an overview Economic and Social Cohesion of the European Union, I was familiar with the problems of project management. Application design thesis is presented on Business Plan which was prepared well and the result is the approval of the project.
