Abstract
The aim of the diploma thesis is to familiarize with the design process of charging stations for electric vehicles in a BIM environment and the subsequent digitization and optimization of the data in the already prepared 3D BIM model. This model refers to the fully completed construction of FAST VSB-TUO building in Ostrava. In the theoretical part, the basic concept of the BIM method in the Czech Republic will be described together with a comparison of the already established and fully functional use of the model abroad, namely in the United Kingdom. As part of modern digitization, theory from the field of electric vehicle charging, which is increasingly popular today, will be used. Furthermore, an explanation of the functionality and comparison of these modern electric vehicles as well as the vehicles which are powered by fossil fuels will be incorporated here. In the practical part, the existing 3D model will be analysed in detail and will be supplemented with an adjacent parking lot belonging to FAST VSB-TUO. The existing parking spaces will subsequently be replaced by spaces where it will be possible to charge electric vehicles for students and employees. The control of inputs and outputs will be ensured by commercial Optimax software from the ABB company. This modern software will also be introduced in the next chapters of this diploma thesis. The final part will explain the advantages as well as disadvantages for the future installation of charging stations for students, employees, and building operators of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Technical University of Ostrava. The scope of the thesis is 79 pages.
