Adsorpce kationtů těžkých kovů na grafen oxidu

Abstract

This bachelor thesis is a contribution to finding solutions to the environmental problem of removing heavy metal cations from contaminated water. One of the potentional sorbents appears to be graphene oxide. This material was prepared by two different technological processes and both types of graphene oxide were used for the sorption of copper and ferrous ions from the aquatic environment. The adsorption patterns were described by using appropriate physical (linear model, Freundlich and Langmuir´s isotherms) and kinetic models (pseudo-first-order rate equation and pseudo-second-order equation), whose parameters were determined in this thesis and represent its output.
