Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis and characteristics of the development of the state of Israel and the characteristics of its relations with the European Union. In the first part, the history of the Middle East and Israel is explained. The next part focuses on the development of Israel's foreign trade policy and the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union. This section concludes with a characterization of the relations between Israel and the European Union. In the practical part, first a PEST analysis of Israel is developed, which assesses the political-legal, social, economic and technological factors of Israel. Finally, the current development of Israel is characterized in the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and then possible scenarios for the future development of this conflict are presented.
