Úprava solárních panelů po ukončení životního cyklu a způsob jejich využití

Abstract

The Czech Republic does not have a sufficient raw material base. It follows that secondary raw materials form a significant part of the raw material base for all branches of industrial production. Thanks to the significant use of secondary raw materials, non-renewable primary resources will be saved, such as wood, sand, stone, ore, oil, etc. The dissertation deals with experimental research, the aim of which was to test the possible use of recycled waste glass from photovoltaic panels in the production of cement composites. The glass pieces from the photovoltaic panels were crushed in a jaw crusher into 4 different classes (class 0/0.5 mm; class 0.5/1 mm; class 1/4 mm and class 4/10 mm). The smallest 0/0.5 mm class was also ball milled and sorted into 0/0.125 mm class. A number of experimental recipes with 100% aggregate replacement were designed for recycled waste glass from photovoltaic panels at the end of their useful life. Other recipes contained 30% and 50% substitution of natural aggregate for glass recycled from the photovoltaic panels. In the last set of recipes, the binder was replaced with recycled glass powder or recycled glass powder was added to the binder. In the introductory part of the experimental research, the plan of the experiment is presented, which is divided into three stages. Furthermore, the characteristics of the input raw materials for the preparation of experimental recipes of cement composites, the methodology for determining the physical-mechanical properties of recycled glass from photovoltaic panels are presented. The next chapter deals with the design of experimental recipes for individual stages and testing of their physical-mechanical properties. The results of individual tests are statistically evaluated. The achieved results, which are presented in the dissertation, can be used for more detailed research in investigating the use of recycled glass from photovoltaic panels as a secondary raw material in the production of cement composites.
