Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to compare the individual odor sampling systems, refute their choice and build the whole sampling methodology on the physical properties of the sample and environment and to prepare a unified sampling methodology for individual cases so that it could be the basis for successful olfactometric determination of odor concentration. Opinions on the use of individual techniques differ in the literature as well as their mutual comparison. What, of course, is a much bigger problem of sampling of planar resources. In these sources, the diffusion rate of the emitted volatiles varies considerably depending on the temperature. Many expert articles deal with so-called flow hatches, comparing the sampling results, but no one has dealt with the nature of the problem and what kind of material, at what temperature and conditions it measures. In a system of artificially drawn sample from the surface sources, many physical phenomena have been applied, which the experts have not dealt with to date, or have dealt with very superficially.
