Návrh nové zonace pro CHKO Bílé Karpaty s využitím GIS

Abstract

My thesis aims at designing a new protected area zonation for the purpose of nature conservation planning in the Bílé Karpaty Protected Landscape Area (PLA), using the GIS. The design is based on multicriteria analyses and analytical hierarchy process. The first part of the thesis contains definitions of terms, introduction to relevant legislation, compulsory data, and requirements for the different zones. It continues with the selection of a suitable approach, description of data preparation and data processing using analytical hierarchy process. The final part of the thesis suggests a way of transforming and applying the results in the Land Register. The result of the thesis is a new design of protected area zonation for selected cadastres of the Bílé Karpaty PLA.
