Abstract

This diploma thesis is aimed on the risk assessment of selected elementary school. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of crime prevention and security of school facilities. Furthermore, in the chapter is descripted several security incidents caused in school facilities in the Czech Republic in the last 5 years. The main part of the thesis deals with the elementary school, there is complex description including the assessment of crime. In the next part of the thesis, a risk assessment was carried out, which was carried out according to ČSN 73 4400 standard. The aim of the thesis is to design security measures in order to increase security in a selected school.
