Zhodnocení účelnosti investičních výdajů města Vratimov

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis focuses on investment expenditures carried out by the town of Vratimov. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part explains fundamental concepts related to public administration, gradually narrowing down to municipality and its characteristics. The practical part includes the methodology and evaluation of findings obtained from the research. The objective of the thesis was to assess the investment expenditures of the town over the period 2014–2023 in the context of strategic planning and citizens' evaluations of Vratimov. To achieve this goal, financial and quantitative analysis methods were employed, tracking the development of municipal expenditures, including capital expenditures, the evolution of long-term asset values, and analyzing local residents' opinions on municipal investment activities of the town. The final part of the thesis interprets the findings of the research.
