Aplikace nástrojů Lean Six Sigma v oblasti řízení zásob

Abstract

Theme of the thesis deals with Application of the Lean Six Sigma tools in the area of inventory control. The aim of my thesis is to optimize inventory using Lean Six Sigma methods thus reduce inventory cost in the company CTS Czech Republic s.r.o. The thesis has a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part introduces to Lean Six Sigma methods and tools, which are based on the technical literature background. The practical part focuses on the current state of inventory turns in the CTS Czech Republic s.r.o. The analysis is realized by Lean Six Sigma tools. I propose resolutions which lead to reduction of inventory turns and cost in stock. The final part includes data evaluation and improvement suggestions that help optimize inventory control and eliminate possible bottlenecks.
