Komparace financování České televize a Českého rozhlasu

Abstract

The thesis deals the financing of the public media, particularly the Czech Television and Czech Radio. In five selected years, the share of the licence fee and share of revenues from the economic activities of the media are watched in total revenues. And subsequently the values are compared. The aim of this work is to determine which of the media public service in the Czech Republic is more income-independent, which therefore means it has higher returns from economic activities. The higher returns mean larger risk of losing of their objectivity. Furthermore, the development of the income items is watched in the thesis over the years – fees, advertising and sponsorships.
