Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the issues of waste water origin and treatment. The text is well arranged into five chapters. Thesis introduction describes its goals while the thoretical parts explain water characteristics, waste water origin and classification, pollution indicators and gives an overview of the essential processes used in waste water treatment. The practical part assesses the operation of the waste water treatment plant in the OZO Ostrava s.r.o. industrial area.
