Abstract
Bachelor thesis is focused on estimation of probability of origin and spread of a fire in build-ings for dwelling in Czech Republic. Statistical data are compiled on Czech Republic housing stock and fires in buildings for dwelling in the years 2000 - 2010. On this basis, there is calcu-lated value of probability of origin and spread fire in residential and family houses.
In conclusion this value is compared to other countries.
