Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Risk Assessment for Physiotherapists. First part introduces the field of physiotheraphy, and the risks associated with the work of a physiotherapist, focusing on physical and mental stress. The next section discusses the risk assessment process, which includes risk identification, analysis and assessment. Metods and tools suitable for OHS risk assessment are also listed. The metods are then applied in practise. Work-related risks are evaluated in a specific physiotherapy workplace and measures are proposed to ensure the health and safety of physiotherapists. An overview of significant risks and recommended measures is presented in graphic form for the purpose of education and awareness of physiotherapists.
