Abstract

The presented thesis elaborates the development of waste composition produced by the Karvina town citizens and its impact on funding from the town budget. The first section describes the valid legislation concerning municipal waste management. The second part focuses on the development of waste composition produced by the citizens. The third part narrates the influence of individual constituents in the waste to finance their disposal. The next section measures are proposed to increase the the yield of exploitable waste constituents. The last section describes the financial impact of the measures taken on the Karvina town budget.
