Turistický potenciál Kyjova a jeho okolí

Abstract

This bachelor´s thesis with the title ´The tourism potential of Kyjov town and its outskirts´ is divided in two main parts - the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part offers a summary of theoretical terms related to tourism, its types and specifics. It also includes the definition of tourism services and a tourism destination, and also a part dealing with marketing. The practical part focuses on Kyjov and its characteristics, geography, demography, and various interesting sights to be found in the area. The main goal is to analyse Kyjov´s tourism potential. A subgoal in this part is to characterize the significant cultural event ´Slovácký rok´ from historical, cultural as well as economic point of view. The final part of this practical segment submits a SWOT analysis.
