Studie dynamiky regeneračních procesů v odumírajících smrkových lesích s využítím aktivního a pasivního managementu

Abstract

The Diploma thesis is based on cooperation with Národní lesnické centrum from Zvolen city, which realizes the experimental work on dying Norway spruce plantations. It deals with regeneration dynamics and forest management on these areas. The research area was located in the Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mnts., on the Velký Polom hill. The literature recherche and field research data analysis constitute the whole thesis. This thesis is operatively divided into several chapters that are included in two main sections. The natural stances of the research area and own work methodics are described comprehensively in the theoretical part of the work. It also deals with the topic of dying Norway spruce plantations, active and passive forest management. The practical part deals with concrete numbers and evaluates regeneration dynamics on particular areas, using active and passive management. The conclusion judges the acquired results and the accomplishment of all points.
