Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to introduce software that is used to implement e-learning in education. The theoretical part is presented educational theory of e-learning, explains the basic concepts and outlines ways to implement this theory into practice. The next step is to describe the evolution of e-learning and problems encountered in its use in teaching in schools. Analysis of the current state of use of e-learning illustrates the questionnaire survey among students of secondary schools and universities. In the practical parts are selected and presented tools that can assist in developing and disclosing a course. Selected software is categorized into three categories: authoring tools, Web 2.0 tools and learning management systems.
