Abstract

The aim of thesis is assessed the state of metallurgical store and brings recomendations to be more effective in an inventory management in a company BRANO a.s.

It consists of two parts, theoretic and practical passage. The theoretical part considers explaining main notions in context of inventory and especially then the method ABC and the method XYZ. The practical part is devoted to the metallurgical store in the SBU Tools. At first it is analysed the function of store and then separately material items.

All suggestions and recommendations are maked from analysis current state and from dialogs with employees of company. The recommendations should improve the situation in the metallurgical store after the right implementation.
