Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the study of the effect of low temperatures on the explosive properties of a fuel-air mixture. In the first part of the thesis will be explained the basic concepts and theoretical data related to the issue of this topic, which will be divided into the relevant chapters. The next part is focused on the description and evaluation of the experiment, which took place in laboratory conditions - in a device called autoclave. Measurement has obtained the necessary data, which can be beneficial and can be applied in practice, when designing explosion protection. Furthermore, there is a suggestion in which direction should the research of explosive mixtures of gases and air in the coming years. The conclusion of the thesis is its evaluation from the author's point of view and whether all the parameters entered in the assignment were met.
