Comparison of Selected Stock Exchanges in China and in the USA

Abstract

My thesis is based on the analysis of the history, way of trading, types of market, market capitalization, IPO, regulation and Index of Chinese stock exchanges and U.S. stock exchanges. We will introduce the characteristics and functions of stock exchanges at first.Then we will introduce the development of Chinese stock exchanges and the development of U.S. stock exchanges. Finally, we will compare Shanghai Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Hongkong Stock Exchange, NYSE and Nasdaq. The U.S.stock exchanges are still the best in the world, and the Chinese stock exchanges are also developing rapidly.

Moje práce je založena na analýze historie, způsobu obchodování, typů trhu, tržní kapitalizace, IPO, regulace a indexu čínských burz a amerických burz. Nejprve představíme vlastnosti a funkce burz. Poté představíme vývoj čínských burz a vývoj amerických burz. Nakonec porovnáme Shanghai Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Hongkong Stock Exchange, NYSE a Nasdaq. Americké burzy jsou stále nejlepší na světě a čínské burzy se také rychle rozvíjejí.
