Abstract

This diploma thesis is focuses on a comprehensive examination of activities related to human resource management, emphasizing both the legal aspects and economic implications. The human resources department represents a fundamental pillar of every organization, as it has a crucial influence on the efficiency and stability of the business. The theoretical part of the thesis meticulously examines definitions and fundamental concepts in the field of human resources, analyzing various personnel activities from workforce planning to employee performance evaluation. The empirical part of the thesis focuses on a specific organization, where through observation, it examines everyday practices and processes in the field of human resources. Based on this analysis, recommendations aimed at optimizing human resource management and improving the work environment are presented. To achieve the goal of the thesis, both theoretical and empirical research methods were utilized, enabling a comprehensive assessment of the issues and formulation of specific proposals for enhancing human resource management in the studied organization.
