Abstract

The lithology and structural analyses of rock mass in the safety pillar of ČSM mine are described in thesis. The analyses results are compared with the recent hydrofracturing stress measurement in the same locality. It should prove how the residual Variscan tectonic stress gathered from structural and lithological analyses influences the recent stress state in rock mass. The X-ray tomography method and its use in microstructural analysis of brittle or ductile fractures are implemented beyond the original Framework of thesis. Significant influence of tectonic and lithological structures on the recent stress fields distribution proved to be very important factor
