Prevence jako ekonomická strategie

Abstract

Práce se zabývá ekonomickou a praktickou analýzou preventivních programů České průmyslové zdravotní pojišťovny (ČPZP) a jejich významem pro udržitelnost systému veřejného zdravotního pojištění. Cílem bylo zhodnotit, jak efektivně pojišťovna vynakládá prostředky fondu prevence a jaký mají tyto investice dopad na zdraví a spokojenost pojištěnců. Teoretická část objasňuje principy prevence, financování zdravotních pojišťoven a ekonomické metody měření návratnosti investic do prevence. Praktická část se opírá o ekonomickou analýzu interních dokumentů ČPZP, srovnání s konkurenčními pojišťovnami a výsledky dotazníkového šetření mezi 131 pojištěnci. Závěry práce v určitých případech naznačují, že preventivní programy ČPZP přinášejí měřitelné ekonomické úspory, zvyšují zdravotní gramotnost pojištěnců a podporují dlouhodobou stabilitu systému. Výstupem práce jsou návrhy na optimalizaci alokace prostředků, zlepšení komunikace s klienty a rozvoj digitalizace v oblasti prevence.

This thesis focuses on the economic and practical analysis of preventive programs of the Czech Industrial Health Insurance Company (Česká průmyslová zdravotní pojišťovna – ČPZP) and their importance for the sustainability of the public health insurance system. The aim of the thesis was to evaluate how effectively the insurance company allocates resources from the prevention fund and to assess the impact of these investments on the health and satisfaction of insured individuals. The theoretical part explains the principles of prevention, the financing of health insurance companies, and economic methods for measuring the return on investment in preventive care. The practical part is based on an economic analysis of internal documents of ČPZP, a comparison with competing health insurance companies, and the results of a questionnaire survey conducted among 131 insured individuals. The findings of the thesis indicate that, in certain cases, ČPZP’s preventive programs generate measurable economic savings, improve the health literacy of insured individuals, and contribute to the long-term stability of the system. The output of the thesis includes proposals for optimizing the allocation of resources, improving communication with clients, and enhancing digitalization in the field of prevention.
