Abstract

This thesis treats of an overwiev of used techniques and some information systems for operational control of the facility-sustaining activities and some possible applications of these particular information systems for cost management are designed here. The subjects are taken from banks acting in the marketplace in Czech republic. A managerial approach for operating the facility-sustaining activities not implicated in core business is facility management. Outsourcing is the main instrument of facility management. Outsourcing itself means covering supporting services outside organisation based on the longe-range conctract. For increasing level of cost management in the sphere of supporting services is necessary to make the best account of the modern linked information systems. Such information systems are CAFM, CMMS, CPMS.
