Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with a design of the new version of the power management exploration vehicle. The charging system will be able to charge with a very small current, which allows the use of alternative sources for charging the battery. The proposal involves the introduction of hardware modifications in order to reduce power losses and thus increase the efficiency of charging the vehicle battery. The paper describes the design of the recharger, balancer and recharging algorithm for the implementation of microcontroller. The following describes the adjustments directly on the control board module of power management, which was necessary, including appropriate software modifications.
