Abstract
Bachelor thesis on an economic analysis of construction enterprise was divided into five main chapters. In the second chapter, called the theory of financial analysis has been described definitions, methods of analysis and selected financial ratios, net working capital, bankruptcy and credibility models. In the next chapter, these indicators were subsequently used in the practical part of enterprise Block, a.s. The fourth chapter is devoted to the evaluation of the results obtained and compared some indicators of the same industry.
Aim of this work is to evaluate the financial health of the company Block, as for the years 2008-2012 using the selected ratio and other indicators, evaluation of results and comparison of selected indicators of construction sector in the Czech Republic.
