Abstract

The thesis focuses on optimizing costs and financing the vehicle fleet of a selected business company. The thesis is structured into one theoretical and two practical parts. The theoretical section introduces the field of fleet management, principles of fleet operation, electromobility, associated costs, and financing options. It concludes with an explanation of the time value of money and the cash flow statement. The methodology includes description, analysis, comparison, and multi-criteria decision making. The practical part provides an overview of the company and its current fleet, followed by an analysis and comparison of financing methods, including cost calculations for acquiring vehicles via operating lease, financial lease, outright purchase, or loan financing. The conclusion presents a comparison of cash flows for each financing option.
