Abstract

The aim of this work is to specify the basic concepts related to the solution of bankruptcy and evaluate the solutions according to the legislation, with a deeper focus on discharge from debts. The theoretical part of this thesis was summed up the whole course of the insolvency proceedings, since its inception, which is common to all methods of dealing with bankruptcy, discharge from debts through the pass, the selection method of discharge from debts and its authorization to its practical implementation with subsequent liberation of the debtor from paying the remaining debts. At the conclusion of the evaluation and what the advantages and disadvantages of bringing discharge from debts to debtors and lenders. In the practical part were discussed practical examples and followed evaluation of the debt situation of households in the Czech Republic.
