Abstract

This bachelor's thesis deals with the design and implementation of a measurement platform for testing thermoelectric modules of the TEG and TEC types. The aim of the work was to develop a system capable of generating a controlled temperature difference across the tested module while simultaneously measuring temperatures on both sides. The proposed system utilizes a liquid-based thermal regulation circuit with Peltier modules and an ESP32 microcontroller, on which a PI control algorithm is implemented. The system allows control based either on temperature or temperature difference. Temperature measurements are performed using PT1000 sensors with MAX31865 converters. Experimental measurements demonstrated that the system is capable of maintaining a stable temperature difference in the range of approximately 4 abd 5~°C with a deviation on the order of tenths of a degree Celsius. The results also highlight the influence of thermal losses and system dynamics on control accuracy.
