Automatická kontrola štítků transfuzních přípravků

Abstract

This Bachelor’s thesis deals with a problematic of control of the transfusion products. The main objective of this work is to develop a method for a reading the barcode and the color analysis for the detection of hemolytic blood plasma. At this moment transfusion bags are checked visually by nurses. They control their integrity and compare the color with the table. To read the barcode and evaluation of color is designed software in Matlab. Using an algorithm created being read the barcode on the label of the blood product transfusion. Then, the algorithm detects the color of the transfusion bags according to the table of reference samples of the blood plasma. The detection takes place in the RGB color space and thanks to the reference samples the software determines the degree of hemolysis. This work also contains the selection of the appropriate camera.
