Abstract
Thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part deals with the geological situation of gravel deposit Rašovice, situated in one of terrace of the Orlice river, and its wider surrroundings. Practical part of the thesis deals with the study of particular technological properties of raw material explored from this deposit. It means determination of granularity, volumetric weight (density), absorbability, shape index, petrographical and mineralogical composition of constituent fractions and PXRD analysis of the finest fractions.
