Vztah mezi fyzikálními veličinami popisujícími AWJ a charakteristikami kvality obrábění

Abstract

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to try to find the relationship between the physical quantities describing the abrasive water jet and the machining quality characteristics. Among the many parameters that describe the abrasive waterjet, I have selected three physical variables, (pump pressure, traverse speed and abrasive mass flow rate), whose relationship to the machining quality characteristics has been investigated. A literature search has been carried out and the abrasive waterjet machining quality characteristics, mainly roughness and waviness, and models of their dependence on the investigated variables have been presented, as well as papers dealing with similar issues have been described. Subsequently, an experiment was designed and carried out to verify the presented theoretical dependencies. The results of the experiment confirmed the theoretical assumptions of the influence of the physical variables on the quality characteristics, but the specific dependencies described in the paper were confirmed only for the depth of cuts.
