Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on slicking of mining activity implications in Ostrava-Karviná mining district, administered by the company DIAMO, state enterprise, branch office ODRA, Ostrava. In this tabled thesis potential effects of mining activity on environment are mentioned, then an importance of recultivation of landscape is described and also what is the aim of all recultivation processes. In what ways implications of mining activity can be slicked and how to solve these negative effects on nature. In the final part I described two chosen redevelopment constructions, which can be found in Ostrava-Karviná mining district, where a coal-mining has already been finished. Both constructions are of a different character, but with the same aim, i.e. to minimalize negative implications on landscape and nature.
