Využití plněných profilů pro výrobu litiny s kuličkovým grafitem

Abstract

The kontent of this thesis is aimed at production of ductile iron in KASI, spol. s. r. o. („KASI“) company in foundry located in Nový Bydžov. Whole thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretical part focuses on detailed production of ductile iron and supervision of it´s quality. Experimental part describes current status of foundry production and trying new alternative production processes. Experimental part goes deeply into quality control of casts with the help of termic analysis, structure control, control of mechanical attributes in today´s state of production and changed technologies of cast treatment. In the current state, modificating-filling profile with external inoculation is used. Changed technologies are used for production of a ductile iron consisting of inoculative and modificative elements. After consistent observation of quality in a series of tests, various parts got evaluated and compared while the most optimal method of production was defined.
