Geologická dokumentace etáží lomu Kotouč

Abstract

The submitted thesis depicts a litologic structure of the Upper Jurassic up to Ceretaceous rocks of the Kotouč quarry fourth etage on the basis of field documentation and the subsequent sample elaboration, which proposes to extend the data set and the evaluation related to the given area. By adoption and application of the basic methods, as well as by photodocumentation of spatial relations directly on the location, by macroscopic description of the recovered samples, by the assessment of the selected cuts together with the RTG diffraction analysis, the effort will be to present a classification summary of different types of rocks to the listostratigraphic units, by which the possibility of the acquired information use for subsequent research of the general geological-genetical relations in this limestone organ will be provided.
