Abstract

The thesis is dealt with the inventory control and distribution in the company called Brose CZ s r.o. The aim is focused on designing of the new inventory control in the factory in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm and analysing of distribution of materials to the assembly lines by "trains" in the factory in Kopřivnice. In the thesis, there are included the theoretical-methodological bases of the inventory control and distribution, the inventory definition and costs, the concept of lean manufacturing with the pull system. Then, there are included ABC and XYZ analysis and the method of Just in time and kanban, Software Support for SAP and the distribution function of packaging, handling and shipping units. The kanban board was designed with using the ABC and XYZ analysis, calculating the size of doses production and the implementing times for kanban. Furthermore, the thesis is concentrated on the analysis of distribution of materials to the assembly lines by "trains" and the designing of continuous racks. At the end of the thesis, there is evaluated the improvement with using of comparing the current and future state.
