Brasserie

Abstract

Subject matter of this bachelor project is creating designs for brasserie, which will be a part of newly built office house on Palackého street in the centre of Ostrava Přívoz. Whole project was based upon previous research which was done during previous courses of Architecture Studio III and Architecture Studio IV. Main focus point was designing optimal way to build façade without sacrificing its essence, which later proved to be possible thanks to combination of column system used inside and cast in situ concrete load bearing walls designed on building edge. This construction is uncovered and viewable both from outside and from within projected volume. Designed building remains true to moduli space and is open to whole schema_dspacedb.
