Abstract
The thesis is focused on comparision of the effectiveness of probabilistic reliability assessment using selected methods based on Monte Carlo simulation. Chosen methods to compare are Monte Carlo, Latin Hypercube Sampling and Importance Sampling. Way to compare effectiveness of investigated methods is to define simulation numbers required to determine required accuracy. Effectiveness of methods is monitored according to value of final probability, dimension of construction and number of random variables.
