Optimalizace tepelného zpracování mikrolegované oceli na bázi 34CrNiMo6 za účelem zvýšení životnostních a únavových vlastností

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the optimization of heat treatment of 34CrNiMo6 steel to increase the service life and fatigue properties. The aim is to compare fatigue properties when applying different heat treatments. The theoretical part deals with a literature search focused on terminology in the field of wheelsets, axle production with a focus on materials for railway axles, heat treatment of axles, stress-strain analysis of wheelsets, material fatigue with a focus on material fatigue stages and the main factors affecting the fatigue limit set on reduced test specimens. Subsequently, the theoretical part deals with the methodology of statistical evaluation of the fatigue limit in bending during rotation. The experimental part deals with the application of specific quenching procedures with subsequent tempering for axles made of 34CrNiMo6 steel. Subsequently, the influence of different processing regimes on mechanical properties, fatigue properties, macrostructure and microstructure are assessed.
