Abstract
The subject of diploma thesis is an analysis of current issues in public procurement. The theoretical part focuses on public procurement legislation, the history of this legislation and the latest amendments to the Act on Public Procurement. The practical part deals with the analysis of the most common topical issues in public procurement for the period 2009 - 2011, approach to individual problems, evaluating and assessing the draft recommended measures for their removal.
