Abstract

The thesis seeks a link between the localization factors and sustainable construction of mainly industrial buildings. It addresses current possibilities and trends of sustainable construction in relation to the legislative environment, circular economy, use of brownfields, e-commerce environment and its development. Based on real world examples and according to information obtained, the thesis analyses the existing approach of developers to sustainability and the localisation of projects. In conclusion, it indicates possible directions in development of construction, also with regard to the prospective shortage of available building plots.
