Abstract
The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse impacts the USA economic policy on its economics in time period 2001-2010. Whole diploma thesis is structured into five chapters. First chapter deals with the introduction. In the second chapter there is outlined economic policy theory, furthemore the core is measurement the efectiveness of economic policy. The topic of the third chapter is characterisation of George W. Bush economic policy in period 2001 – 2008. In the fourth chapter there are analysed impacts of financial crisis on economics and economic policy of the USA. The diploma thesis is finished with the fifth chapter, which conludes whole thesis.
