Abstract

The goal of the bachelor thesis: “The Influence of Incomes and Expenditures on State Purpose Funds on Public Finance Focused on the State Fund for Transport Infrastructure“ is to analyse incomes and expenditures of state purpose funds in relation to public finance. The work is divided into five chapters including the introduction and the conclusion. The second chapter is focused on the theoretic specification of public finance. Definitions of public finance, causes of their origin as well as their fundamental principles and functions are introduced at this part of the work. The third chapter deals with state purpose funds. There is described firstly their position in the budgetary system of the Czech Republic and secondly there are characterised individual state purpose funds. Fourth chapter considers thoroughly management of The State Fund for Transport Infrastructure in years 2004-2009. This part of the thesis shows relation of this fund to the state budget and analysis of its influence on public debt, too.
