This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of emergency planning for surroundings of the buildings containing explosive substances and objects. The first part describes safety requirements for buildings producing and storing explosives. Other theoretical parts explain the connection between emergency planning and prevention of major accidents, relevant legislation included and activity of fire brigades. The practical part investigate the possibilities of using modern softwares focused on determining emergency planning zone.
