Abstract

This thesis deals with the distribution of waste from the metallurgical industry, describes the characteristics, production and use of selected non-ferrous metals and states mining localities at home and abroad. It also deals with pretreatment of raw materials with possibilities of leaching. The experimental part of this work deals with bacterial leaching of copper slag in order to obtain selected metals, specifically copper, zinc and lead. Leaching was taken under aerobic conditions with inoculum bacteria Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans.
