Abstract
The diploma thesis is focused on evaluation of the technical efficiency of the selected indicators of the selected public libraries in the Czech Republic in 2010 and 2015. For the evaluation of technical efficiency was chosen a multi-criteria method of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the technical efficiency of the selected sample of public libraries by the method of DEA in 2010 and 2015. There were evaluated 28 libraries in three specific Models I, II and III. Efficiency modeling in both years showed that libraries in Model I with operational indicators were the most efficient. In contrast, Models II and III with economic indicators were found to be ineffective, but less scattered within a given set of files.
